Kenworth presents top quality 8 electrical truck

US producer Kenworth has unveiled its first US Class 8 electrical truck at CES 2022 in Las Vegas. Designed for a gross automobile weight ranking of 82,000 kilos (about 37 tonnes), the Kenworth T680E electrical tractor contains a Meritor powertrain and presents 400 kW of steady or 500 kW of peak energy.

The automobile is supplied with a 396 kWh capability battery for roughly 150 miles (240 kilometres) of vary and may be charged at as much as 120 kW. Through a CCS1 DC fast-charging port, the T680E may be totally charged in about three hours.
