Chennai: BJP chief Kalyanaraman arrested for posting tweets that ‘promote enmity’

Kalyanaraman, a member of the Tamil Nadu BJP working committee, was arrested by the Chennai Police on Saturday for cyber harassment through ‘derogatory’ remarks on Twitter.

Dr Senthilkumar, Member of Parliament from Dharmapuri in Tamil Nadu and a member of ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, filed a criticism in opposition to Kalyanaraman together with advocate Maa Gopinath of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi.

The police additionally obtained complaints in opposition to BJP’s Kalyanaraman for his allegedly abusive tweets about former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi and actor-doctor Sharmilla.
